Formula for calculating Entrance Test 2009 Score

 

There is some confusion in calculating the score= in MCAT-2009 paper using the Self Scoring System. The formula is as follows;

 

Blank =3D 0

Correct Response =3D +5

Incorrect =3D -1

 

Example 1:

Blank=3D30

Correct=3D150

Incorrect=3D40

Score=3D (150 x 5) – 40 =3D   710

 

 

Example 2:

Blank=3D20

Correct=3D180

Incorrect=3D20

Score=3D (180 x 5) – 20 =3D   880

 

 

Example 3:

Blank=3D10

Correct=3D200

Incorrect=3D10

Score=3D (200 x 5) – 10 =3D   990
