Continuing Medical Education & Research
Punjab Institute of Cardiology is a teaching hospital. A department for research and continuing medical education has been established to keep the Doctors and Medical Staff updated with the latest research. Multiple research projects have been successfully completed and various new projects are under progress. Special Section for development of research and continued medical education has been established by the Journal of Cardiovascular Diseases to facilitate research and continued medical education.

Publication of Journal of Cardiovascular Disease
To promote research and medical education publication of a Medical Journal is started. The Journal of Cardiovascular Disease is a quarterly publish research based medical journal started in 2003. It encompasses contribution in the field of Cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. So far four Journals have been issued.
