Construction of New OPD

Existing Out Patient Department (OPD) which was originally design for 300 patients now handling 900 patients daily. This rush is unmanageable due to short of space. A development scheme for the construction of new OPD with adequate facilities has been approved and civil works shall be started shortly.

Mobile Free Zone

Highly sensitive cardiac equipment are installed in PIC. Mobile phone is a great source of disturbance for the sensitive equipment PIC is going to establish mobile free zones in critical care areas like ICU, CCU and diagnostics.

Allograft Department

Punjab Institute of Cardiology is the only cardiac institute which is establishing Allograft facility. A Allograft Bank shall be established where Homograft Valve shall be preserved to extend this facility throughout Pakistan.
