Summer School Activity The Department of Human Genetics and Molecular Biology offers a two-week Summer School Training Program focused on Molecular Pathology and Culturing Techniques, designed specifically for undergraduate medical students. This hands-on program aims to equip participants with essential laboratory skills and theoretical knowledge in key areas of molecular biology. Training includes accurate micro pipetting, aseptic techniques, microscopy, DNA extraction and quantification, stem cell isolation, PCR setup and execution. Through intensive lab work and guided instruction, students gain practical experience with biological safety cabinets, thermal cyclers, and other modern lab equipment. The program fosters focused, in-depth learning in a supportive academic environment. By the end of the course, students are better prepared for advanced research and clinical applications in molecular diagnostics, regenerative medicine, and genetic science, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world biomedical practice.
