Nursing Faculty development workshop on "Ensuring Safety Measures (IPC) for Clinical Practice at Constituent nursing college AIMC Lahore
September 1st 2025, The Institute of nursing, university of health sciences Lahore successfully conducted a Faculty Development Workshop on "Ensuring Safety Measures for Clinical Practice" on September 1st, 2025 at AIMC College of nursing, a constituent nursing college.
The session focused on strengthening faculty knowledge and skills in clinical safety, infection control, and risk management. Faculty members actively participated in discussions and practical activities designed to enhance safe clinical teaching practices.

September 9th, 2025 The Institute of Nursing, UHS, arranged a one-day hands-on workshop titled “Mastering Lifesaving Skills: Suctioning & Airway Management”. This focused training was designed for nursing students & faculty, seeking to enhance their critical care competencies. Participants gained practical experience in essential lifesaving interventions such as suctioning and airway management. The workshop combined demonstrations, supervised practice, and evidence-based guidelines to build confidence and proficiency in managing airway emergencies in clinical settings
Webinar on Implementation of Semester-Based BS Nursing Curriculum
On 19 February 2024, The Institute of Nursing, UHS, hosted an informative webinar on the “Implementation of Semester-Based BS Nursing Curriculum”. This online session aimed at nursing educators, administrators, and stakeholders involved in curriculum design and delivery. This webinar explored best practices, challenges, and strategies for successfully transitioning to and implementing the semester-based BS Nursing curriculum. Participants gained insights into curriculum alignment with national standards, assessment methods, faculty development, and quality assurance measures to improve teaching and learning outcomes in nursing education.
Writing & Publishing in High Impact Journals
21–22 February 2024, The Institute of Nursing, UHS, organized a two-day workshop titled “Writing & Publishing in High-Impact Journals”. This intensive program was designed to strengthen the scholarly writing and publication skills of faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students. Participants learned practical strategies to craft high-quality manuscripts, select appropriate journals, and navigate the peer-review process with confidence.
Health Awareness Campaigns (Maternal & Child) in Schools and Hospitals
o Awareness Session on Child Sexual Abuse
March 15, 2024, An Awareness Session on Child Sexual Abuse was held at Govt. girls’ higher school, Barki, Lahore Cantt. The session aimed to educate participants about recognizing, preventing, and responding to child sexual abuse. Experts provided valuable insights, practical strategies, and support resources to enhance community awareness and strengthen child protection measures.
Awareness Session on Breast-feeding Techniques
April 4–5, 2024, An Awareness Session on Breastfeeding Techniques was conducted at District headquarter hospital Sheikhupura. The session focused on educating post-natal mothers about proper breastfeeding methods, improving infant latching, and preventing common breastfeeding challenges. Practical demonstrations and expert guidance were provided to enhance mothers’ confidence and support healthy infant nutrition.
